- Bronx Food Summit
- Bronx Food Summit is a day-long event for families aimed at raising awareness, promoting healthy communities and spurring action around food and wellness. Our hope is to bring together Bronx residents, food and fitness advocates, local businesses, schools and community organizations to sow the seeds for a healthier, more affordable, more sustainable food system for our borough.

- Flatbush Food Film Forum
- Flatbush Food Film Forum will be playing Grown in Detroit, which follows students at the Ferguson Academy for Young Women, a high school for pregnant teens, as they work in the school's urban garden and learn how to grow nutritious food for their children. "Back to the roots", a simple yet effective solution for a city that has to start all over again... and perhaps a lesson to be learned for the rest of the world.

- Breukelen Tenant Association (NYCHA) Clean Up Event
- LYB grantee Breukelen Tenant Association, a NYCHA housing development in ENY/Canarsie will host a major clean up of 7 playground areas on the NYCHA property. 50+ volunteers are anticipated to participate in this cleanup event. City Services include: replace litter baskets, survey for speedbumps, and survey for bike racks.

- Hancock Neighborhood Block Association Tree Guard and Tree Pit Celebration
- Love Your Block grantee, Hancock Neighborhood Block Association is having a tree guard installation and tree pit planting and block celebration. The Block Association expects 30+ volunteers to come out and help with the celebration. City Services include: trash collection, tree stewardship, remove graffiti, and speed bump survey.

- Vanderveer Block Association Garden Clean Up
- Love Your Block grantee, Vanderveer Block Association will be holding a garden clean up day, cleaning tree pits and re-planting. The Block Association expects 25+ homeowners to participate. City Services include: replacing street signs, ticketing for dumping, trash collection, woodchip delivery, speed bump survey, and replace street lights.
