Why Donate

Small neighborhood groups improving the quality of life in New York City’s low-income communities are often overlooked by traditional funding sources. Citizens Committee is one of the few - if not the only - organizations these critical groups can turn to for support.

The economic turmoil of the past several years has resulted in a surge of demand from grassroots groups who want to take the quality of life in their neighborhoods into their own hands.

We need your support in order to say “yes” to more grassroots groups seeking to transform their neighborhood.
