100-168 West 121 Street Resident Block Association

The 100-168 West 121st Street Resident Block Association is building relationships among residents and  K-3 students and administrators from an adjacent school, improving the quality of the block's tree pits, and reducing pet waste through a beautification event and post-event compeition that includes tree pit cleaning and planting and a student-and-resident team tree pit care competition. The  Association is utilizing City services for the installation of  bicycle racks and a speed bump for student safety and for surveying to identify opportunities for tree removal and planting and new street light installations.

100-168 West 121 Street Resident Block Association is building intergenerational relationships with P.S. 242 by beautifying their neighborhood. The group is planting flowers and maintaining tree beds in the neighborhood to encourage neighborhood pride.

100-168 West 121st Street Resident Block Association is beautifiying its block's tree pits. The Association is removing garbage and debris from its tree pits, laying new mulch and soil, and planting new brightly colored annuals.

100-168 West 121st Street Resident Block Association is cleaning and maintaining its block through a beautification project and competition. Students from P.S. 242 are adopting tree beds in front of the residences of community members and beautifying them as a part of a competition. The project is culminating in an award and recognition celebration.
