Bryant Hill Community Garden

Grant Year:  2015

Bryant Hill Garden is creating a sustainable water collection structure for its community garden. The group is also maintaining fruits and vegetables and planting more vegetation, in addition to removing litter and tree branches. Members of the garden are also painting over graffiti on the block near the garden.

Grant Year:  2012

The Bryant Hill Community Garden is making much-needed safety repairs to the community garden, one of two gardens in all of Hunts Point. The group is building steps to make the garden slope accessible, erecting timber walls to prevent soil erosion, and repairing the garden's fences to stop vandalism. These steps are making the garden safe and accessible for all, especially youth and school groups.
