W.O.W Project

Grant Year:  2018

W.O.W. Project is hosting a series of public events to highlight everyday resilience across the Chinese diaspora in Chinatowns on the East and West Coasts and eight countries around that world that are confronted with urban displacement. Events include presentations, panels, conversations, and a visual exhibition.

Grant Year:  2017

W.O.W. Project is leading an oral history project of Chinatown as a way to bring different generations of the immigrant community together. Participants are interviewing long-time residents and small business owners to preserve and build on the history of the area, where locals are under threat of displacement.
