Bronx International High School

Bronx International High School is building a rainwater catchment system for their garden. The garden is engaging immigrant students, teaching healthy eating, and providing students with alternative career paths.

Bronx International High School at Morris Campus is creating an afterschool program to teach students how to build, repair, and maintain bikes. The bikes are often found in dumpsters, and the program is recycling them for reuse. The group is installing bike racks in the school to promote biking as a healthy, accessible physical activity.

Bronx International High School is constructing two raised beds as part of a larger effort to build a permanent garden on its campus playground. Students are building the architectural structures for the garden and learning how to grow vegetables from seed.
