Neighborhood Leadership Institute
Citizens Committee conducts free skills-building workshops to support your community-building ideas and initiatives. Workshops are for members of volunteer-led groups and individuals interested in carrying out community improvement projects.
Our workshops are tailored to meet the strengths, needs, and goals of your group, and are structured in an interactive format that draws out the experiences and knowledge of the participants.
The Neighborhood Leadership Institute, a four-workshop series, is offered twice a year in the fall and the winter. Participants who complete the Neighborhood Leadership Institute will receive a certificate of achievement.
Note that we are also able to facilitate our skill-building workshops in your neighborhood and at a time convenient for your group. A minimum of fifteen participants is required. We are also able to conduct workshops in Spanish.
