West Side Small Business Grants

To help Manhattan’s West Side small businesses experiencing financial distress due to the impact of COVID-19, the West Side Community Fund, in partnership with Citizens Committee for New York City, has launched the West Side Small Business Grants (WSSBG).

WSSBG grants of $5,000 to $10,000 will fill gaps in funding by prioritizing businesses owned by people of color, immigrants, and women.

Examples of small businesses eligible for a grant include barber shops, restaurants, food carts, and vegetable stands. Unlike many financial opportunities currently available to small businesses, this program provides grants rather than loans.

The West Side Small Business Grants are made possible by Google, IAC, Jamestown, Tapestry Inc.’s Coach Foundation, TimeWarner, Wells Fargo Foundation, and the West Side Community Fund.
