Project snapshot

Mohammad Moniruzzaman is a self-employed immigrant from Bangladesh who established his NYC food vendor business in 1997 selling hotdogs, pretzels, and drinks. This grant will help him increase inventory and meet customer demand while also alleviating financial pressure and enabling repairs on his pushcart. He has been giving back to the local community by offering discounts and lunches to those who are homeless or in need. He is using this grant to help him build a better life for himself and his family, while also giving back to his community as much as he can.
