Project snapshot

I founded the Female Fight Club (FFC) in the Bronx, a women-only fitness studio offering a safe, supportive space to prioritize health and fitness, tailored specifically to women’s needs. Initiated in March 2020 with simple workouts in Van Cortlandt Park, our community’s response highlighted a critical need for structured support. Now housed at our Riverdale Avenue studio, FFC combines fitness with crucial outreach like domestic violence support, breast cancer awareness, and fibroid screening. Our engagement strategies include free classes in the par, wellness workshops, and robust social media outreach. To sustain our impact post-grant, we plan to introduce membership options, host community wellness events, and establish local business partnerships. At FFC, we empower women to fight for their well-being, reflecting our ethos: “What are you fighting for?”
