Edgemere Alliance’s Awareness 2023 Building Community and Justice 40 Initiative is a community-based initiative that seeks to educate the public on various climate change initiatives that will impact their lives. This includes an in-depth look at the US Army Corps of Engineers Raising of the Shoreline, the Justice 40 Initiative, and strengthening community resiliency through programming events focusing on environmental justice, flood protection in urban and disadvantaged communities, and water access for recreational inclusion for communities of color. Additionally, they will provide vital Community Emergency Response Training to community members.
