Project snapshot
Crossroads Connection Inc. is providing youth with theater programs that focus on the topic of anti-gun violence and other social justice issues. Youth are involved in the creative process of creating a script and performing. Participants from schools, New York City Housing Authority community centers, Parks Department centers, and churches in the community are using this opportunity to develop critical thinking and public speaking skills. They are also having conversations with role models in the community and local elected officials in order to introduce them to responsible civic engagement.
