Ashe Birthing Services is a collective of fifteen birth and postpartum doulas based in the Bronx, NY, dedicated to providing full-spectrum support to families of color. To address gaps in care, they aim to offer blood pressure cuffs to their clients, empowering them to monitor their health and seek timely care. This grant will support the creation and execution of this project, providing over 600 blood pressure machines and educating families on their use. Ashe Birthing Services actively engages with their community through partnerships, community baby showers, educational panels, and workshops, striving to uplift and empower families of color.
