Project snapshot

iDig2Learn is working to foster community involvement on Roosevelt Island by expanding the tree canopy and knowledge about tree care through its ?Seeing the Forest for the Trees? project. This includes hosting plantings and educational “Forest-side Chat” workshops to share the benefits of the existing and newly added trees. The goal is to bring neighbors together, empower them to participate in design of their living space, and update the Roosevelt Island 2012 Tree Survey.
