Project snapshot
Friends of Colonel Young Park/Malcolm X Community Improvement Association, LLC is undertaking a project to upgrade and beautify the park and surrounding area. This includes planting trees and flowers, improving signage, controlling rodents and mudslides along the concourse. The goal is to create an inviting space for people in the community to enjoy while also contributing to the overall health and well-being of its public spaces. They believe that this project will be beneficial to everyone in the community and create a positive ripple effect for years to come.
