El Sol Brillante Community Garden’s composting center is helping reduce methane emissions from landfills while bringing the community together. Neighbors carry their compost to the garden, which helps define the streets as user-friendly and provides a sense of community spirit. With each visit to the bins, neighbors connect with one another and can be assured they are doing their part in protecting the environment. This composting center is providing a convenient and positive way to help reduce emissions and create unity in the neighborhood.
