Project snapshot
Women in Comics Collective International’s WinC Creative Conference is a comic book festival composed of panel discussions, workshops, and cosplay showcases. It seeks to help upcoming and veteran comic book professionals in the industry while at the same time exposing local community members to the art and merit of the comic book medium. This is especially important for historically underserved communities who often don’t have access or the means to attend large, expensive conventions. It is a great opportunity for those individuals to get connected with this fun and creative world.
