Project snapshot

In the past year, I have been fortunate enough to receive donations from community members, local businesses and restaurants to keep our refrigerator and pantry stocked with healthy food. It’s a constant struggle in our neighborhood, with seniors, NYCHA residents and an increasing migrant and homeless population facing food scarcity. With the recent influx of migrants, we are looking to add a second refrigerator to better serve our community. This additional resource would allow us to meet the growing demand for food and provide much-needed support to those in need. Having access to healthy food promotes wellness and strengthens our community bonds. We are looking forward to adding a second refrigerator and continuing to make positive impacts in our neighborhood.
