The Morningside Heights Community Coalition’s JUST Housing for Morningside Heights project is a committee of neighbors, advocates, and elected officials that are working together to prevent further gentrification in the neighborhood. The project seeks to make meaningful impacts in preserving existing affordable homes and introducing new affordable units by raising local awareness, asking local institutions to do their part, and advocating on behalf of specific tenants experiencing eviction threats.
