The Brooklyn Pollinator Network aims to restore biodiversity and greenspace in neighborhoods by establishing a network of native plant growers in Brooklyn and Queens. Through the project, residents are empowered with planting materials, education, and community events to re-wild and restore over 40 requested tree pits, front yards, and sidewalk verges in Brooklyn. The outcome of this work will be increased biodiversity, improved greenspace, and a stronger sense of community engagement among residents involved in the restoration efforts.
