Project snapshot

Padre Plaza Success Community Garden is addressing the continuous food scarcity, lack of useful information, and scarce resources in our community. Our approach involves reaching out to both current and prospective members through meetings held in the garden. These gatherings serve as platforms for understanding community needs through surveys, which helps us tailor our efforts effectively. What stands out about this project is the way it creates ties among community members, encouraging teamwork in a serene and affectionate atmosphere. To ensure the garden’s lasting impact, we’ve established a planning committee dedicated to engage with community members. This committee’s role is to plan, strategize, and maintain open lines of communication, ensuring we can adapt to and meet our community’s ongoing needs.
