Sonder School Of Music is based in Elmhurst, Queens and is dedicated to providing all ages and skill levels with access to music education. They specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent students, offering affordable lessons, rehearsal spaces, performance opportunities, master classes, and a scholarship program for financially disadvantaged students. In addition to providing their services at an accessible cost, Sonder School Of Music also works with local professional musicians and teachers to provide performance opportunities and maintain instruments and supplies. Their mission is to ensure equitable access to music education, support their community through partnerships with local performance venues, and compensate teachers appropriately. They strive to bring music education, appreciation, and performance to all.
