Project snapshot

MEMS: launches “Building Strength to Break the Chains of Modern Slavery,” a multi-week series of educational workshops and trainings for migrant workers and community supporters. The curriculum combines legal and policy education on workers’ rights and immigration with skills-based community organizing (campaign strategy, organizational design, membership recruitment, fundraising, public speaking). Content is co-designed with legal and social-service experts and grassroots organizers, iteratively evaluated for efficacy, and structured in an “each one, teach one” model to scale community-led anti-trafficking and labor rights advocacy.
