Bed Stuy Clothes Swap is working to empower and uplift the BIPOC community by providing sustainable fashion digital archive workshops and pop up reading rooms. These offerings serve as hubs to document disruptive histories and stories of sustainable fashion practices within BIPOC communities, allowing them to be seen in a positive light. Through this initiative, Bed Stuy Clothes Swap aims to create more archival educational pipeline opportunities that will help close the access gap BIPOC locals often experience. With these offerings, they hope the community can reap the benefits of knowing and celebrating its own unique stories.
