Centro Cultural Barco de Papel

Centro Cultural Barco de Papel is gathering local writers for a reading series that is making cultural activities more accessible in its community. With writers and LGTBQ+ organizations, it is creating a space for stories being shared outside of the visual arts and virtual event context. This helps the organization?s mission of making traditional ways of reading a part of the cultural milieu of the community. Exposing the community to different disciplines of writing helps them understand new ways of communicating its roots and gives the community the chance to write their own stories.
