CitizensNYC: Ideas Summit

All in for Community Health

Calling all grassroots leaders, policy experts and neighborhood business owners in NYC Our one-day Ideas Summit convenes and connects grassroots community leaders, academics, elected officials, strategists, and community residents, working toward the public good of New York City.

What is community health? It’s education. It’s access to food. It’s mental health. Community wealth. Civic engagement. It’s holistic, it’s about all of us and each of us. It’s our aim - for NYC to be in good health and have quality of life.

Our most recent data analysis revealed that everyday New Yorkers are stepping up during this time of crisis, and that grassroots leaders are urgently seeking greater access to social capital and financial support in order to address the hyper-local emergency relief projects and the critical food and health needs they’re seeing in their neighborhoods today. This trend is true across all five boroughs of NYC. That’s why we believe that investing in and connecting everyday New Yorkers can go a long way. The Ideas Summit positions New York City to become a more moral, just, and equitable place for all by leveraging this moment of rebuilding. Details on presenters, sessions, topics, and sponsors are forthcoming.
