NEW YORK – May 19, 2022 – Citizens Committee for New York City (CitizensNYC) announced today the newest addition to its board of directors, Paul Deutch. Paul opened the New York City office of Omni Agent Solutions in 2009 and has managed the same ever since. Paul is part of a core team which creates and implements the business development strategy for the company’s corporate restructuring services. He also works closely with clients to ensure that they receive high-quality services tailored to their unique needs.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Paul later earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. Following his clerkship with the Honorable Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York, Paul embarked on a fourteen-year legal career, representing debtors, creditors, asset purchasers and lenders in all aspects of reorganization and liquidation proceedings.

Over the past decade, Paul has played an active role in the corporate restructuring community, including serving as a board member for both the Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”) and the New York Institute of Credit, and as a former board member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (“ABI”). He has participated in several educational panels for both TMA and ABI and is the current chairman of the ABI 40 Under 40 Selection Committee.

“It is an honor to bring Paul onboard as part of the CitizensNYC team. As a longtime volunteer and leader raising more than a million dollars for our organization, I am thrilled to have him take on this elevated role.  As a native New Yorker from Queens, Paul has deep roots in the city that has made him who he is today,” said Dr. Rahsaan Harris, CEO of CitizensNYC.

“I am incredibly honored to join the CitizensNYC board of directors. This is an amazing organization whose sole mission is to make the city we love even better by helping those New Yorker’s most in need.  I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Board to facilitate the great work of our grantee partners who are some of best community leaders NYC has to offer,” said Mr. Deutch about the new role.
