CitizensNYC: LIVE Rethink & Rebuild

Homeownership & Economic Justice

Economic justice is access to tools that build wealth, such as homeownership, education, and business ownership. When these tools are accessible to all, that is economic justice.

Economic justice insists that all are able to access these tools. Historically, banks and laws have denied Black communities unconditional access to homeownership.

For Black History Month, join CitizensNYC as we dive into the home-buying process for Black New Yorkers today with Natasha Williams, Sr. Managing Partner of The Cornelius Group, Vonetta Hawkins, VP of Diverse Segments, Northeast, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Melaine Morgan, Director of Storytelling, CitizensNYC for this compelling 30-minute livestream.
