Contracovid is hosting resource drives to provide newly arrived community members with free access to immigration legal assistance, dental and medical assistance, mental health support, and clothing donations. The goal is to educate and empower the immigrant community by connecting them with social and medical resources to become self-sufficient in New York City. With a goal of expanding the events to serve 700 people or more, funding will also be allocated for transit passes to address transportation challenges faced by immigrant community members accessing these resources.
