Creston Avenue (Playground)

Creston Avenue Playground is a project designed to provide therapeutic and active gardening for our community. It promotes environmental awareness and stress reduction, significantly improving mental well-being, especially for our underserved youth and families. The therapeutic process of caring for plants and being in nature has had a profoundly positive impact on mental health. We prioritize open communication through regular community meetings, suggestion boxes, and online forums, ensuring everyone can express their thoughts, concerns, and ideas. This transparency fosters a sense of belonging and shared ownership. By actively involving community members in decision-making processes, we ensure the project’s sustainability, encouraging a shared commitment to its continuation beyond the grant period.
