The 100 Block Association of West 119th Street will honor the memory of Miss Susie, our beloved long-time resident and “mayor,” with Miss Susie Days. These planting days in spring and fall not only beautify our block but also strengthen community bonds, attracting neighbors from both our block and beyond. We reach out to the community with colorful flyers and emails, creating events filled with excitement and a spirit of togetherness. The flowers and plants brighten everyone’s day, embodying our pride in our block and community. It?s heartwarming to see connections form and rekindle among neighbors of all ages during these events.
