Project snapshot
Art Transforms, Inc. is a project that seeks to expose youth in high risk gun violence areas to visual art. The project encourages young people to create artwork expressing how they interpret gun violence and culminates with an art exhibit of the pieces created, with the theme “Stop Gun Violence: Our Lives Matter.” This project acts as a platform for youth to express their concerns and share their stories, as well as increase awareness of gun violence and its impacts on youth in high risk areas.
