Project snapshot

Asian American Self-Advocates (AASA) will establish a youth-led self-advocacy program within Project Ready, recruiting co-applicant self-advocates to define mission, governance, branding, and leadership. The project develops structured curriculum and facilitated learning groups, integrates civic-rights and voter education, and connects members to broader advocacy events. Capacity-building supports transition to independent, self-managed operations. This initiative increases civic participation, representation, and community inclusion for Asian American young people with developmental disabilities.
