Project snapshot

Bengali Youth Advocacy Group: Implements an intensive advocacy training for 40 Bengali adolescents and young adults (14–24), combining Mental Health Ambassador Certification, interfaith leadership dialogues, and community organizing. Participants receive peer counseling and advocacy skills, conduct community needs assessments, design campaigns targeting school mental-health policies, and present policy recommendations to education and community officials. The project strengthens youth capacity to address cultural-identity mental-health disparities and drive systemic change in local education and healthcare systems.
