Project snapshot
The Bronx Sunshine Garden is a vital community space dedicated to fostering unity, addressing food insecurity, and providing a welcoming environment for all. Through the Bronx Sunshine Beautification Project, the garden will be enhanced with new pathways, picnic benches, and mural art, creating a safer and more inviting space for residents to gather and connect. In addition to beautification efforts, the project will establish the garden as a Resilience Hub, offering solar-powered devices and free WiFi to ensure community members can stay connected during emergencies. The initiative also continues the garden’s mission to combat food insecurity, providing fresh produce and seasonal food distributions to families in need.
