Project snapshot

Brooklyn Lifelong Learning has been a vital resource for Brooklyn seniors. The pandemic forced us to switch to Zoom classes, which resulted in a significant drop in membership. Fortunately, we now have the opportunity to resume in-person classes at the Brooklyn College Student Center, although increased costs of the space for us to host these classes poses a challenge. Restoring membership levels by offering more in-person classes is crucial for our sustainability. When serving people with a fixed income, our affordable $90 annual dues ensure accessibility. BLL not only provides intellectual stimulation but also combats isolation, enriching the lives of our senior members with cultural and social activities.
