Project snapshot

Brooklyn Packers will use the grant to support renovations that will enhance the accessibility and visibility of their storefront, establishing it as a central community food hub. This includes installing a storefront awning and under-awning lightbox for increased visibility and branding and creating a seating and tabling area for food distribution, purchase, and customer engagement. Additionally, funding will be allocated to hire an electrician to install the light box fixture, further enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the space. These improvements will strengthen Brooklyn Packers’ role in promoting food sovereignty, supporting local agricultural producers, and providing accessible, high-quality food to the community.
