The Building 26 Association Inc. is committed to inclusivity through the Expanding Inclusive Activities for Children with Special Needs initiative. This project will create sensory-friendly events designed specifically for children with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders, providing safe and welcoming experiences where they can fully participate. These events will take place one to two times a month and will include sensory-friendly movie screenings, adaptive play sessions, and interactive workshops. To accommodate diverse needs, activities will feature adjusted lighting and sound, quiet zones, fidget tools, and flexible seating options. Beyond offering engaging activities, the initiative will also connect parents, creating a valuable support network where families can share experiences and access expert resources.
