Project snapshot

Youth and Tennis Program: Provides year-round instruction for ages 5–18 to develop tennis skills, stroke mechanics, hand–eye coordination, movement, and footwork through coached drills, conditioning, and progressive competition. Curriculum integrates behavioral exercises, group discussion, and social skills training to enhance listening, concentration, discipline, and peer interaction. Operating evenings and weekends in Roy Wilkins Park tennis bubble, the program increases athletic development, youth engagement, and pathways to inter-program competition and leagues, supporting community health, social cohesion, and positive youth development.
