Project snapshot

As a small family restaurant in East Harlem, they focus on uplifting Mexican cuisine and their community by hiring locally and promoting from within, thereby expanding skills and income in their neighborhood. If awarded the grant, they plan to use it to finalize compliant labels for their sauce line and to hire an additional cook, allowing them to extend their operational hours to serve breakfast. Committed to community improvement, they host local gatherings, donate meals, contribute to food pantries, promote local safety, and assisted three former employees in launching their businesses.
