Project snapshot
Central Queens Against Hate will facilitate small-group dialogue circles combining a shared, accommodation-friendly meal, ground rules, guided meditation, and talking-piece discussion to foster deep listening, cross-cultural understanding, and community connection. The project will expand beyond a single donated site into multiple Queens neighborhoods by funding venue rentals, equipment, and catered meals, and will establish a multi-session series on divisive issues (housing, hate crimes, polarization) with advanced facilitator training to equip volunteers to manage heated discussions and co-develop inclusive local solutions.
