Project snapshot

The Dominicans Love Haitians Movement is a vibrant cause addressing the pressing issues of human rights through cultural enrichment and community engagement. By supporting underserved artists and harnessing the power of somatic and experiential storytelling in the Haitian and Dominican communities, we’re inspiring empathy and encouraging public shifts in attitude toward more inclusive behaviors. The Nou Akoma Nou Sinèrji Haitian Dominican Transnational Film Festival (NOU) is one of our key initiatives, spotlighting the rich narratives of the Haitian and Dominican diaspora and challenging imbalances in media representation that negatively impact Black and Indigenous voices. We’re committed to promoting critical media literacy among BIPOC youth, paving the way for their future success in the media industry.
