Project snapshot

I’m excited to launch the Cook N Play Pilot Program, an 8-week initiative designed to enhance family well-being through physical, mental, and emotional health workshops. Our sessions include “Plant-Based Culinary Adventures and Picky Eaters Explorers,” where families learn about nutritious plant-based cooking; “Family Fitness Together,” which transforms exercise into fun bonding activities; and “You and Me Yoga,” promoting relaxation and connection through yoga and mindfulness. We’ll collaborate with schools, community centers, and children?s services to reach families and collect data for program refinement. Ultimately, we aim to make Cook N Play a permanent after-school program, fostering a culture of health and wellness across community institutions and establishing a foundation for lifelong health in our community.
