Project snapshot

Hill Street Garden Collective: will transform an underutilized section of Hill Street Garden into a resident‑designed community hub hosting educational workshops, cultural events, and collective workdays. A phased infrastructure upgrade—rebuilt beds, community-designed signage, irrigation and pump installation, ADA-accessible pathways, and a shared garden pantry—will support equitable access and regular programming. Ten youth organizers will lead outreach, event coordination, and volunteer management while free trainings in urban agriculture, composting, culinary arts, and leadership build local capacity and ensure long-term community-led stewardship.
