Project snapshot

Our project will aim to marry tech and agriculture for youth and their families by introducing hydroponic systems to grow vegetables and using a MicroBit device to test soil conditions as we progress. Many underserved communities struggle to eat healthy and even afford healthier food options. By hosting our program at a Family Enrichment Center, we will be able to reach our regular audience, plus theirs. The enrichment center will be home to the hydroponic system and will support us semi-annually as we host the program.
