GayRidge is creating a much-needed Queer Prom, an inclusive celebration where LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages can experience prom in a way that feels safe, joyful, and affirming. Many queer adults never had the chance to attend prom as their authentic selves due to discrimination, fear, or exclusion, while today’s LGBTQ+ youth continue to face increasing hostility. In a time when safe spaces for queer joy are more important than ever, Queer Prom offers a night of belonging, connection, and celebration. This event will feature a DJ, performances, dancing, and community-building activities.
