Project snapshot

Grand Tea and Imports, a family-owned business specializing in Chinese teas and cultural goods, aims to use a grant to enhance its operations. The grant would fund a tea packing machine to streamline operations and boost order capacity while improving packaging via freelance designers would increase sales and customer engagement. Hiring creatives for educational content about Chinese teas and traditions will expand our brand awareness and customer base. They plan to upgrade their storefront to attract more visitors. These enhancements aim to increase traffic, boost wholesale business, and promote Chinese culture. They seek to make this business more than a business. They want to make this place a cultural institutions where people leave the store with not just tea, but an education about tea, its benefits, and the impacts of Chinese culture in New York and across the globe.
