Project snapshot

Neighborhood Native Plant Collective: will establish a native plant garden, funding tools and materials (not plants) for sheet-mulch site preparation, soil testing, and long-term maintenance. The garden uses habitat-kit plants provided by a partner organization and aims to support native pollinators throughout their life cycles, control invasive species, improve soil structure and fertility, reduce and filter stormwater runoff, and deliver community education and workshops. Proper site prep and tailored planting maximize survival and ecological benefits in urban disturbed soils.
