Project snapshot
HBS Cares will expand volunteer-led services for unhoused and underserved New Yorkers by delivering monthly care drives, community resource pop-ups, empowerment workshops, tailored care packages (food, hygiene, hair-care kits, affirmations), and pop-up grooming with volunteer barbers/stylists. Partnerships will provide job-readiness support and mental health referrals. By combining consistent outreach with dignity-focused services, the project reduces immediate material need, improves access to social and health resources, and fosters confidence and community reintegration.
