Project snapshot

YES Program: Implements a Youth Peer Leadership & Empowerment Series enabling ten youth leaders to design and lead monthly volunteer-driven community projects—neighborhood clean-ups, youth-led mental wellness workshops, pop-up job-prep stations, and intergenerational story-sharing with seniors. With mentorship and community partner support, participants develop competencies in project planning, public speaking, budgeting, and outreach. The initiative centers youth as changemakers, increases civic engagement, builds local capacity for service delivery, and generates measurable community impact through sustained youth-led mobilization.
